The Medial Proximal Tibia Locking Plate is anatomically contoured for the anteromedial proximal tibia and is designed for internal fixation of medial tibial plateau and metaphyseal fractures.
The plate features convergent proximal locking screw holes that support subchondral fixation beneath the joint surface. Its combination of locking and compression holes allows different fixation techniques according to the fracture configuration.
A limited-contact shaft design reduces the plate-to-bone contact area, while the low-profile anatomical contour helps minimize soft tissue interference.
• Anatomical Plate Head: Pre-contoured for the anteromedial proximal tibia, with a low-profile design and left- and right-sided configurations.
• Proximal Locking Screw Holes: Three convergent holes allow subchondral screw placement to support the articular surface.
• Combi-Shaft Holes: Combination compression and threaded locking holes allow either axial compression or fixed-angle fixation.
• Limited-Contact Shaft: Reduces the plate-to-bone contact area and helps limit interference with the periosteal surface.
• K-Wire/Suture Holes: Two 2.0 mm holes allow provisional fixation or soft tissue attachment.
• Material Options: Available in implant-grade 316L stainless steel or commercially pure titanium (cp-Ti).
• Angular Stability: The convergent locking screw configuration provides a fixed-angle construct for metaphyseal and articular fixation.
• Limited-Contact Design: The reduced plate-to-bone contact area helps minimize interference with the periosteal surface.
• Versatile Fixation: Combi holes allow compression or locking fixation to be selected according to fracture morphology.
• Soft Tissue Compatibility: The anatomical contour, low-profile design, and rounded edges help reduce soft tissue irritation.
The Medial Proximal Tibia Locking Plate is indicated for internal fixation of proximal tibial fractures, including:
• Medial tibial plateau fractures, including split, depression, and split-depression patterns
• Metaphyseal fractures involving the medial tibial plateau
• Segmental proximal tibial fractures involving the medial and lateral aspects
• Proximal tibial fractures requiring medial buttress support and stable fixation
