Description

Product Introduction

The Lumbar Interbody Fusion Cage is made of a PEEK cage with integrated pure tantalum radiographic markers.

It is available in multiple sizes with different lengths, widths, and heights to accommodate various anatomical requirements.

The cage is implanted between adjacent vertebral bodies and utilizes a distraction-compression stabilization principle. The resulting forces help resist rotation and shear while transmitting axial loads.

This provides immediate and early segmental stability and creates a favorable mechanical environment for interbody fusion.

-Features

The upper and lower surfaces of the cage are anatomically contoured to conform to the vertebral endplates.

The serrated surfaces help prevent displacement of the cage from the intervertebral space.

A central bone graft window allows the placement of bone graft materials, such as autologous cancellous bone or synthetic bone substitutes.

As PEEK is radiolucent under X-ray imaging, integrated metallic radiographic markers facilitate intraoperative positioning and postoperative evaluation.

-Advantage

• Bullet-Nose Front-End Design: Facilitates easier cage insertion.

• Anatomical Surface Design: Convex upper and lower surfaces conform closely to the vertebral endplates and provide self-distraction during implantation.

• Anti-Migration Structure: Serrated protrusions on the upper and lower surfaces help prevent implant displacement.

• Large Bone Graft Window: Provides sufficient space for bone graft placement to support interbody fusion.

• Multiple Specifications: A variety of sizes are available to meet different clinical requirements.

• Bone-Like Elastic Modulus: The elastic modulus of PEEK is close to that of bone, helping reduce stress shielding and support osseointegration.

• Radiolucent Design: The radiolucent PEEK structure combined with radiographic markers facilitates intraoperative and postoperative implant positioning.
