Description

Product Introduction

The Lumbar Interbody Fusion Cage is a PEEK-based interbody implant with integrated pure tantalum radiopaque markers. It is available in multiple lengths, widths, and heights to accommodate different anatomical requirements.

The cage is placed between adjacent vertebral bodies and utilizes a distraction-compression stabilization principle. The resulting opposing forces help resist rotation and shear while allowing axial load transmission.

This provides immediate segmental stability and establishes a suitable mechanical environment for interbody fusion and long-term interface integration.

-Features

Anatomical Surface Design

● The upper and lower surfaces are anatomically contoured to provide close contact with the vertebral endplates.

Anti-Migration Structure

● Serrated surfaces on both sides enhance grip and help reduce implant migration.

Bone Graft Window

● The central opening provides space for bone graft materials, including autogenous cancellous bone or synthetic substitutes.

Radiographic Visualization

● The radiolucent PEEK body incorporates pure tantalum markers to facilitate implant positioning during and after surgery.

-Advantage

● Bullet-shaped leading edge facilitates smooth insertion.

● Convex anatomical surfaces support self-distraction and improve endplate contact.

● Serrated surfaces enhance initial fixation and help prevent migration.

● Large graft window provides sufficient space for bone graft placement.

● Multiple size options accommodate different clinical requirements.

● PEEK has a bone-like elastic modulus, helping reduce stress shielding and support bone integration.

● Tantalum markers provide clear implant positioning under X-ray imaging.
