Product Introduction
Proximal humeral fractures are among the most common fractures, accounting for 4%–5% of all fractures.
Mechanism of injury: Usually occurs when the elbow strikes the ground or the arm is braced during a fall, especially in elderly patients, or when the shoulder joint directly sustains external force.
● Unique and innovative “nail-in-nail” technology to enhance the fixation effect of proximal locking screws.
● Proximal screws are countersunk screws, with at least three lateral screws implanted to ensure basic structural stability.
● Oblique upward supporting lock provides more stable medial support for the humeral head.
● Multi-planar distal locking to avoid neurovascular structures while providing stable fixation.
● Central implantation of the main nail with an ultra-low notch design to protect the supraspinatus muscle and surrounding tissues.
Ø3.5 mm interlocking screws
Additional interlocking screws (“screw-in-screw” technique) can be inserted through the head of the lateral screws to enhance internal fixation stability.
These screws are particularly effective for patients with poor bone quality, such as those with osteoporosis.
Ø4.5 mm interlocking screws
Three screws inserted laterally into the greater tuberosity must be used in all fracture cases to ensure the basic structural stability.
Additional screws inserted anteriorly into the lesser tuberosity can further enhance construct stability.
Ø4.0 mm ascending screw
The ascending screw supports the medial calcar region of the humerus, helping to stabilize fractures with medial comminution.
Ø4.0 mm interlocking screws
Two distal interlocking screws are positioned in different planes to reduce implant toggling within the humeral medullary canal.

Proximal humeral fractures are among the most common fractures, accounting for approximately 4%–5% of all fractures.
These fractures commonly occur when the elbow strikes the ground or the arm is used to brace during a fall. They are particularly common in elderly patients and may also result from direct external impact to the shoulder.
Additional 3.5 mm interlocking screws can be inserted through the heads of the lateral screws using the screw-in-screw technique to enhance internal fixation stability. This configuration is particularly suitable for patients with poor bone quality, including those with osteoporosis.
Three lateral screws are inserted into the greater tuberosity and are used in all fracture configurations to establish basic structural stability. Additional anterior screws can be inserted into the lesser tuberosity to further enhance the stability of the fixation construct.
The ascending screw provides support to the medial calcar region of the humerus, helping to stabilize fractures involving medial comminution.
Two distal interlocking screws are positioned in different planes to provide multidirectional fixation and help reduce implant toggling within the humeral medullary canal.
