The anti-rotation screw and main implant interlock at a 7.5° divergence to provide enhanced control of femoral head rotation. Compared with a Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS), this configuration is designed to provide improved rotational stability.
The plate and main implant form an angular-stable construct with a 130° neck-shaft angle. This configuration is designed to resist varus collapse and femoral neck shortening while providing greater angular stability than conventional cannulated screw fixation.

The main implant and anti-rotation screw are locked together to form a unified fixation construct, allowing dynamic sliding of up to 20 mm during postoperative loading.
The design also preserves sufficient lateral space around the implant, helping to reduce potential discomfort associated with implant prominence.

Compared with a conventional Dynamic Hip Screw (DHS), the FNS features a more compact implant profile designed to facilitate minimally invasive insertion and reduce lateral prominence.
Its footprint on the bone surface is comparable to that of three cannulated screws, providing a compact fixation configuration for femoral neck fracture management.

The system is intended for the fixation of adult femoral neck fractures, including:
