Description

Product Introduction

The Thoracolumbar Posterior Pedicle Screw and Rod System (CoCrMo Alloy) is designed for posterior spinal fixation, fusion, and deformity correction. The system consists of pedicle screws, rods, set screws, crosslinks, lateral connectors, hooks, and other accessories.

By connecting pedicle screws through the vertebral pedicles with contoured rods and modular components, the system supports distraction, compression, derotation, and spinal realignment during posterior thoracolumbar procedures.

The assembled construct provides three-dimensional stability, supports load sharing, and facilitates spinal fusion.

Components are made of TC4 ELI titanium alloy, CoCrMo alloy (Co28Cr6Mo), and pure titanium (TA2G).

Advantage

• Versatile Configuration: Provides fixation options for different spinal pathologies and patient anatomies.

• Correction Maintenance: Helps maintain spinal alignment and minimize postoperative loss of correction.

• Secure Fixation: Bone-specific thread designs enhance anchoring strength and pullout resistance.

• Flexible Options: Multiple screw and set screw configurations accommodate different surgical requirements.

• Durable Performance: Excellent fatigue and corrosion resistance support long-term implantation.

• Biocompatibility: Selected implant materials provide good biocompatibility for spinal fixation applications.

• Modular Design: Multiple components allow customized three-dimensional constructs for complex spinal deformity correction.

Indications

The system is intended for posterior thoracic, lumbar, sacral, and sacroiliac spinal fixation, fusion, and deformity correction in patients with the following conditions:

• Vertebral fractures and traumatic spondylolisthesis

• Post-traumatic malunion or nonunion

• Severe or recurrent lumbar disc herniation

• Spinal instability or spondylolisthesis

• Post-laminectomy instability due to spinal stenosis

• Stabilization after resection of benign, malignant, or metastatic vertebral tumors

• Posterior reconstruction after laminectomy for intradural tumors

• Post-debridement stabilization in discitis or low-grade intervertebral infections

• Reconstruction after debridement for spinal tuberculosis

• Congenital scoliosis

• Idiopathic scoliosis

• Kyphotic deformity
